Terms of service.

The legal agreement between you and Quad for using our software and services. Last updated: January 2026.

1 · Acceptance

By accessing or using Quad, you accept these Terms. If you don't accept them, don't use Quad.

2 · The service

Quad is a mobile and web application that presents data from an institution's Moodle (and optionally other systems) through a unified interface. We provide the software; your institution provides the underlying data and remains its controller.

3 · Your account

You're responsible for keeping your credentials secret and for activity that happens under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

4 · Acceptable use

Don't try to access data you're not authorised to see. Don't reverse-engineer the service to extract proprietary algorithms. Don't use Quad to harass other users. Don't introduce malware. Don't attempt to circumvent rate limits or security controls.

5 · Intellectual property

Quad's software, design, brand and documentation are owned by Quad Your data and your institution's data remain your respective property.

6 · Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may schedule maintenance windows and will notify your institution administrator in advance where practical.

7 · Disclaimer of warranties

Quad is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

8 · Limitation of liability

We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount your institution paid us in the preceding twelve months.

9 · Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced to your institution administrator. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10 · Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. (Replace with appropriate jurisdiction during legal review.)
