One platform. Three modules.

The Moodle Mobile App is the flagship — most institutions start and stay there. The Application Portal and Transcript Portal are configurable add-ons we build alongside the core for institutions that want to extend beyond learning into admissions and academic records.

The three modules

Built to stand alone or stack.

Each module is independent. The Moodle Mobile App runs without the others. The Application and Transcript Portals can run as standalone web tools or integrate into the same student account if you use all three.

Module 01 Core

Moodle Mobile App

A production-ready Android and iOS app on top of your Moodle. White-labelled, offline-first, published to the stores under your name. 14-day delivery.

How they fit together

One student account. All three modules.

When an institution runs all three modules, a student signs up once during admissions (Application Portal), is auto-enrolled into Moodle on acceptance, learns through the Quad Mobile App, and downloads verified transcripts on graduation (Transcript Portal). One identity, one journey.

01

Apply

Prospective student fills out the Application Portal. Documents uploaded, fees paid, reviewers approve.

02

Enroll

On approval, the student account is provisioned in Moodle. Welcome email sent. App download link delivered.

03

Learn

Student downloads the Quad Mobile App. Logs in with the same credentials. Starts coursework on their phone.

04

Graduate

On programme completion, the Transcript Portal generates a verified digital transcript the student can share with employers.

Architecture, briefly

Built to be production software — not a demo.

MobileReact Native + Expo SDK. Android first, iOS in parallel. Published under your institution's developer accounts.
BackendASP.NET Core 8 on .NET 8. JWT auth, Argon2id password hashing, Polly for resilient outbound calls to Moodle.
DatabasePostgreSQL 16 via EF Core 8. Minimal owned tables — everything academic stays in Moodle.
CacheRedis for short-TTL response caching, refresh tokens, and idempotency-key replay (24 hours).
HostingDocker stack behind Nginx. Runs on DigitalOcean, AWS, regional clouds, or on-prem. You choose.
ObservabilitySerilog structured logging, Swagger/OpenAPI documentation, health endpoints for uptime monitoring.

Start with Moodle. Add the rest as you grow.

No need to commit to all three modules upfront. Most institutions start with the Moodle Mobile App and add the Application or Transcript portals six to twelve months later, once the mobile app is bedded in.
