Does Quad replace Moodle?
No. Quad sits on top of your existing Moodle. Your courses, users, grades — all of it stays in Moodle. Quad is the mobile experience layer. If you turn off Quad tomorrow, your Moodle keeps running exactly as before.
Which Moodle versions does Quad support?
Quad supports Moodle 3.9 LTS and the entire Moodle 4.x branch including 4.1, 4.3, and 4.5. Moodle Workplace is supported on request. We talk to Moodle's REST API and respect your plugin choices.
How long does deployment take?
A standard deployment of the core Moodle Mobile App goes from kick-off to a branded production app in about 14 working days. Custom add-ons like the Student Application Portal or Transcript Portal add 2–4 weeks each.
Does Quad work offline?
Yes — offline-first by design. Course materials, lessons, and grades cached on the device persist without a connection. Assignment submissions queue and sync automatically when the network returns, with idempotency keys to prevent duplicate uploads.
Who owns the app on Play Store and App Store?
You do. Quad publishes the app under your institution's developer account. Your name in the store, your logo, your privacy policy. Even if you stop working with us tomorrow, the app is yours.
